Gold Rush: Winter’s Fortune
The spin-off premiered for the first time on July 30, 2021. Tony Beets, Rick Ness, Fred Lewis, and Dustin Hurt start the off-season spring mining together, because of high gold prices due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Winter’s Fortune is the latest spin-off and mainly takes place in the Yukon and Alaska.

The tenth season of Gold Rush is returning again to deliver its 21st episode the coming Friday on Discovery Channel, which is titled officially as, Last Gold. Narrated by Paul Christie, the series has originally premiered its first episode of the first season on December 3, 2010, and has gained a massive fan following since then. The penultimate episode was dropped last Friday on February 28, 2020, that was titled Rally in the Valley. Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail
Starting in 2017, a series of episodes branded as Parker’s Trail have followed Parker Schnabel on trips to other areas. In 2017, a five-part series featured Schnabel and his crew attempting to follow the Klondike Trail. In 2018, a seven-episode series followed Schnabel and his crew flying, hiking and boating through and attempting to mine at stops in Guyana. In 2019, a ten-episode series followed Schnabel and his crew sailing, flying, hiking and driving through Papua New Guinea in northern Oceania, while attempting to mine at stops along the way. In 2020, in a series that debuted on March 13, Schnabel drives through and stops to mine in Australia’s Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia states. For the 2020 Australia season, Parker is joined by Australian female gold miner Tyler Mahoney, who previously appeared in Aussie Gold Hunters, a show similar to Gold Rush.

Gold Rush follows four mining companies as they battle for the best ground, most of which is already tied up, making the task even tougher. The miners are forced to dig deeper and go further into the wilderness in the hunt for their fortune.
Parker Schnabel is forced to take a risk and spend millions to get 50ft underground for what could be the richest he has ever mined. Competitor Tony Beets also finds himself in a sticky spot, with no water license for his Indian River operation, which he spent $5 million on new gear to mine.
Schnabel’s ex-foreman, Rick Ness, has his sights set high, aiming for 2,000 ounces of gold. But will he make it happen when two of his key teammates don’t turn up? Fred Lewis will be hoping not as the military veteran moves his operation north in the hopes of correcting last season’s Oregon mining mistakes.
Discovery Orders ‘gold Rush’ Spinoff For New Streaming Service
After years of growing gold totals, mining prodigy Parker Schnabel is running out of ground, forcing him to gamble on a narrow paystreak that could be the richest hes mined. The problem is, its more than 50 feet below the surface, and hell have to spend millions to get there. As he taps out his Klondike claims, he also travels deep into the Alaskan wilderness in search of his next big claim.
Also returning this season is Tony Beets, who this season puts it all on the line to cash in on his lifes work with the goal of mining 9,000 ounces worth upwards of $16 million at todays prices. This season, Tony also plans to reopen his Indian River operation, having spent more than $5 million in new gear to mine it and the Paradise Hill claims 24/7. However, there is one big problem: There is no water license on the Indian river.
Meanwhile, returning miner Rick Ness starts the year on a hot paystreak and ahead of schedule. Ricks goal is 2,000 ounces of gold, the most hes ever mined, but he starts the season off without a crew. Two of his key teammates dont return, leaving him to ramp up his operations horsepower to make up for the lack of manpower. Rick breaks out a massive half-million-dollar dozer, one of the biggest you can buy, as well a massive new excavator.
Season 12 of Gold Rush premieres at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, while The Dirt is back at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5.

Between the second and third seasons, Todd Hoffman and several crew members traveled to a remote site in Guyana in South America to determine the feasibility of opening up an operation there during the Klondike offseasons. The trip was covered in a single one-hour episode. Although they did discover gold on the claim site, it was not of a sufficient quantity to cover the high expenses of mining the remote site which was accessible only by hiking through a trackless jungle after a harrowing river passage. While the Hoffman crew does go to Guyana for season 4 a year later, given the low probability of profitability, Hoffman chose not to pursue the venture for season 3. The episode ended with doubt about whether they would return.
