“All Things ” by Canadian musicians Widelife and Simone Denny, and “Cool” by Irish singer-songwriter Samantha Mumba, served as the two official songs of the tournament. Mumba’s first singles “Baby Come on Over” and “Gotta Tell You” were initially selected but were replaced as Mumba’s previous label Polydor rejected the usage.
“Glorious” by English-Canadian girl group All Saints served as the official anthem of the tournament.
“Fútbol a la Gente” by Puerto Rican singer Guaynaa and Mexican cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules, and “Pa’lante” by Colombian singer Lao Ra and Dominican DJ Happy Colors, served as the two official Spanish-language songs of the tournament, the former being selected by Univision as part of their coverage.
“Juega” was the official Spanish anthem, by Colombian duo Cali y El Dandee featuring Jamaican singer Charly Black.

MIAMI, Florida On Monday, September 28, Concacaf will conduct the Draw for the 2021 Gold Cup in which 16 teams will look to win Concacafs most prestigious national team tournament.
This year, the Gold Cup will include three teams that have qualified from a 12-team field from the 2021 Gold Cup Prelims, which will also be drawn on Monday.
The top six teams based on the Concacaf Rankings as of August 2020 will be the seeded teams in Matches 1-6 in the Prelims. The remaining six teams in the Prelims will be drawn from Pot 1.
The Prelims will comprise the 12 national teams who qualified through their 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League performances, including the third placed teams from League A groups, the second placed teams from League B groups, and the winners of League C groups. Those teams are Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cuba, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Montserrat, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago.
The seeded teams in the Prelims Draw are the following: Haiti, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, Guadeloupe and Bermuda.
The teams to be drawn from Pot 1 are the following: French Guiana, Guyana, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Montserrat and Bahamas.
Also, the three teams that advance from the Prelims are placed into Pot 4 of the main 2021 Gold Cup Draw and, along with Qatar, will be drawn out of Pot 4.
Qatar At The Concacaf Gold Cup
The CONCACAF Gold Cup is North America’s major tournament in senior men’s soccer and determines the continental champion. Until 1989, the tournament was known as CONCACAF Championship.
Qatar are not members of the North American football confederation CONCACAF, and were invited to the Gold Cup as guests for the first time in 2021.

Who Are Some Of The Tournament Favourites
Mexico are the defending champions and have won the Gold Cup four out of the last five occasions, and eight times overall. Most of their players ply their trade in Mexicoâs Liga MX, which is the top domestic division in the country. The rest are based in Europe and MLS.
Mexico is No. 11 in the current FIFA world rankings , and boasts a deep and talented team that can score goals. It says something about how good this side is that coach Tata Martino didnât even call up veteran forward Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, the countryâs all-time leading scorer, even though heâs leading MLS in scoring with 10 goals for the LA Galaxy.
The U.S. ranked No. 20 by FIFA, is enjoying a resurgence after failing to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. What is the Gold Cup?
The 2021 tournament is the 16th edition of the biennial international competition between soccer teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean. This years Gold Cup will be played in nine stadiums across seven U.S. cities.
How does it work?
The 12 qualified nations, the three Prelims winners and AFC Asian Cup Champions Qatar make up the 16 total teams that were drawn into four groups. These teams will battle it out for the championship title, starting with the tournament’s Group Stage. At the end of the Group Stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

How Many Fans Can Attend The Gold Cup 2021 Final
Over 60,000 fans are expected to attend the Gold Cup 2021 final, with the game becoming the fastest sellout fixture in Gold Cup history, according to CONCACAF.
General tickets were sold out within 90 minutes of going on sale to the general public, making the Gold Cup final the first capacity event in the history of the Allegiant Stadium.
Public health restrictions in Nevada have been eased, allowing for events in the state to go ahead with fans in attendance.
“The CONCACAF Gold Cup final is another marquee event at Allegiant Stadium and were excited that the event sold out in record time,” Raiders president Marc Badain said afterwards.
“The success of the Gold Cup final speaks volumes about the allure of Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium for global sports and entertainment.”

Officially known as the “American Power Boat Association Challenge Cup,” it is the ultimate prize that every competitor strives to win at least once.
The Gold Cup’s long and fascinating history is one of the great sports stories.
A truly definitive history of the “Golden Goblet” has yet to be written and could fill many volumes. There have been many, many highlights, too numerous to be retold here.
The very first Gold Cup race took place in June 1904 on the Hudson River in New York. In those days, the boats plowed through the water rather than skim over the surface of it. The winning boat, the STANDARD, owned and driven by Carl Riotte, averaged just over 23 miles per hour. Measuring 59 feet in length with an 8-1/2-foot beam, the craft used a 110-horsepower Standard motor that resembled a miniature steam engine with its steel columns and open frame.
For the first–and only–time in Gold Cup history, two races were run in the same calendar year. VINGT-ET-UN II, a displacement boat, driven by Willis Kilmer, won the second Gold Cup in September 1904 using a Simplex engine for power. Kilmers best heat was just over 25 miles per hour.
In the years that followed, Detroit displaced New York as the Boat Racing Capital of North America.

They are a tough team, we knew there was a tough game ahead, North Shore head coach Stephane Nadon said. Of all my bantam teams I have coached, and I have coached for a long time, this by far is my best bantam team ever.
For the Cougars it was a tough loss to take in the immediate but it will prime them for next season. We started the season with some struggles, St. Leonard head coach Justin Fraraccio said. Tajon Buchanan, a 22-year-old from Brampton, Ont., could be the next Canadian prospect to make a big move to a European club. What is the CONCACAF Gold Cup?
The Gold Cup, held every two years, is CONCACAFâs equivalent to the European Championships or the Copa America. The tournament is used to determine the continental champion of the CONCACAF region .
The tournament was first staged in 1963 as the âCONCACAF Championship,â two years after the federation was formally founded. The United States Menâs National Team made their debut in the tournament in 1985, where they finished in sixth place. Mexico, meanwhile, has played in all but two editions of the tournament since its inception.
The tournament was rebranded and reformatted as the Gold Cup in 1991, and the United States has hosted or co-hosted it every year since.
The most successful team in the tournamentâs history is Mexico, with 11 wins. El Tri are also the reigning champions, after defeating the U.S. in the 2019 final at Soldier Field, Chicago. The USMNT owns six Gold Cup titles.
