Stratia Gold continues to make noticeable improvements to my moisture barrier. I cant remember my skin ever being this soft, and its hard not to touch my face. Luckily, I havent broken out yet!

What’s The Shelf Life Of Your Products
The expiration date is printed on the bottom or side of the bottle. Most Stratia products are good for at least one year from purchase, if stored in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat and light. Night Shift is good for one year from manufacture, due to the fragile nature of retinol. This means that your bottle may be good for less than a year from purchase. However, it will still be safe to use beyond that date, the retinol may just be less potent.

As you may know, I have been struggling with a weak moisture barrier for a few years, but recently went from weak to damaged. I was in bad shape and I needed a savior to come help my poor, wrecked barrier.
I specifically bought Liquid Gold for that very reason. I did my research, I read the reviews. This was supposed to be my holy grail to whip my barrier back into shape.
So I very ceremoniously pumped the bottle for the first time and lovingly applied it to my face.
It felt nice. I waited.
I dont know what I expected, but you know some products give you that immediate satisfaction an instant soothing or comforting feeling, visible reduction of redness or relief from burning.

If you are looking for a niacinamide serum that offers a bit more than just the brightening antioxidant, niacindamide, The Stratia Skincare Liquid Gold could be a good product worth checking out. The Liquid Gold has a serum-y lotion texture which smooths over skin easily and a little goes a long way. The other beneficial ingredients in Liquid Gold focus on building a healthy skin barrier and contains ceramides, fatty acids, and cholesterol.
I love that it is fragrance and denatured alcohol free. I do want to say, if you have acne prone skin, this one might not be the best match. Soft Touch AHA is the product that was most interested in, aside from Liquid Gold. Its a mandelic acid gel. Mandelic acid is a rarer AHA in skincare youll find a ton of glycolic acid, a reasonable number of lactic acid products, but only a small handful of mandelic acid products (I can only think of maybe 6 products with it. The AHAs used in skincare are exfoliants that help dead cells slough off so you end up with smoother, clearer skin with reduced fine lines and wrinkles. There arent any studies on mandelic acid at lower concentrations as an exfoliant, but it should work like glycolic and lactic acids. The interesting thing about it is its size. Because its quite a bit larger than glycolic and lactic acids, mandelic acid doesnt penetrate as deeply, so it should be less irritating and have a more even effect.
Soft Touch AHA has mandelic acid at a concentration of 10% and a low pH of around 3.4. The product also contains soothing anti-inflammatory ingredients like aloe, chamomile and allantoin, so irritation should be even lower. These ingredients might also help reduce purging if this is your first AHA product! There are also humectants like glycerin and hyaluronic acid to give your skin extra moisture. It has a very slightly sour smell.
