At first, they were VERY stiff. I have tried to wear them several times to see if I can break them in, and its slooowly getting there. The first two times I wore them they hurt, like really hurt.
The inside of the shoes has this cloth material that rubs on my toes wrong and does make them a bit uncomfortable. I have been wearing these barefooted, and am on the hunt for some thin no-show socks. Hopefully, having socks on will make them better.

I also think they would be perfect for my Disney World trip in March because they have support but are also lightweight and breathable. They will also pair well with shorts. Are You Keeping Them
I spent a lot of time debating back and forth about whether to keep a pair and which pair to actually keep. Even though part of me wanted to go with the classic Golden Goose distressed look, they just didnt feel like me on! Maybe it was just the pair I tried, but I felt like they were almost too edgy for me and my wardrobe.
In the end I decided to keep the non-distressed Superstar. They are very comfortable and are super-classic in style. Out of all the sneakers I tried including my best sneakers of 2020 roundup, they were my absolute favorite.
One thing I am going to do to switch them up a bit is change the laces! When I was going back and forth between the two pairs, my mom suggested I try the grey laces that the distressed ones came with on the non-distressed pair. Once I made that swap, I was 100% convinced! They add just enough contrast while still being classic! These are the laces I ordered on Amazon, and I cant wait for them to arrive!

Josef Seibel Sina 11 Sneaker $13495
Introduction: I ordered these because I wanted to try one of the Josef Seibel styles in white leather, and from looking at them online, I couldnt tell which style I liked better these or the Caspian Also of note, the white leather isnt really white it has a grey tinge to it that may be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on what youre looking for. They also have a slightly higher profile than the Caspian, which is not a pro or con, just an observation.
Pros: While I didnt find these quite as comfortable as the Caspian, theyre still very comfortable due to their cushion and arch support, and theyre extremely lightweight at 10 oz each. Both this pair and the Caspian are leather lined, making them extremely comfortable and breathable, and giving them a luxe feel that belies their price point. They also have removable insoles that can be replaced with an orthotic, if need be.
Cons: All I can think of when I look at these is bowling shoes. Im not sure what it is, but something about the style of them doesnt quite jibe with what Im looking for. Also, the tongue pushes into the front of my leg, and theyre also higher on the sides, so they aggravate my ankle bone a little bit as well.
