Warriors’ Klay Thompson: Expected To Practice In November
Thompson is expected to be cleared to return to full-contract practices within a month, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The general expectation all along has been that Thompson would return to game action sometime around Christmas Day, but if he’s cleared for full contact by mid-November, that could set him on course for a slightly earlier return. Of course, Thompson has missed the last two full seasons with a pair of serious leg injuries, so the Warriors won’t rush him back until he’s 100 percent ready. Either way, this update has to be viewed through an encouraging lens for fantasy managers who’ve drafted Thompson to temporarily stash in an IR slot.
Warriors’ Damion Lee: Scores 16 Points Tuesday
Lee posted 16 points , nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes during Tuesday’s preseason win over the Lakers.
In Lee’s four preseason appearances, he’s averaged 9.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.8 minutes, though he’s shot just 10.0 percent from distance. He’ll be battling for reserve backcourt minutes throughout the season.

Warriors’ Jordan Poole: Still On Fire
Poole recorded 28 points , three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Friday’s 121-114 preseason win over the Lakers.
Poole has been an absolute flamethrower through the Warriors’ first three preseason contests. The 22-year-old, a No. 28 overall pick in 2019, has averaged 25.0 points on 52.0 percent shooting in just 23.4 minutes. He’ll presumably start at shooting guard while Klay Thompson remains sidelined. Poole is quickly climbing up the list of fantasy sleepers.
What Is Damian Lillard’s Status For Tonight’s Game Against The Golden State Warriors
Damian Lillard has been ruled out by the Portland Trail Blazers against the Golden State Warriors for tonight’s game. Lillard is not injured, but was just rested to keep him fresh and healthy heading into the season opener.
Damian Lillard , Anfernee Simons , Tony Snell , Nassir Little and Cody Zeller are all OUT out for Friday’s preseason finale versus Golden State
It’s not the first time the Blazers have rested Damian Lillard this preseason. Lillard was given the day off for Portland’s second exhibition game against the Sacramento Kings last Monday. It was after his 19-point performance against the Warriors in the preseason opener on October 4th.
Aside from Damian Lillard, the Blazers will be without four more players against the Warriors. They are Nassir Little, Anfernee Simons, Tony Snell and Cody Zeller. Little has a left hamstring strain and Simons is recovering from a sprained right thumb.
Meanwhile, Snell is nursing a sprained right foot while Zeller has a fractured nose. The four players are not expected to be out for a long period of time.

Warriors’ Draymond Green: Won’t Play Tuesday
Green won’t play in Tuesday’s preseason contest against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Green and Stephen Curry will both rest Tuesday, but they are both expected to play in the Warriors’ preseason finale against the Blazers on Friday. With Green sidelined, Otto Porter and Andre Iguodala will likely see increased minutes against the Lakers on Tuesday.
Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga: Tweaks Knee In Preseason Contest
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Kuminga was removed in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s 118-116 preseason win over the Nuggets after tweaking his knee, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Kerr wasn’t willing to speculate on the extent of Kuminga’s injury, noting only that the rookie will meet with the training staff for further evaluation. Before departing, Kuminga scored three points and added two rebounds and an assist in six minutes.

Warriors’ Andrew Wiggins: Ruled Out Friday
Wiggins won’t play in Friday’s preseason contest against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Wiggins didn’t practice Thursday, so his status for Friday’s game is no surprise. The 26-year-old forward’s absence will allow some of the Warriors’ younger players to get extended run against the Lakers.

Warriors’ James Wiseman: Full Clearance Weeks Away
The Warriors’ training staff has targeted Friday as the date Wiseman should be able to start jumping and working out at full speed, and a “full clearance” is expected in the next couple weeks, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
While it sounds like Wiseman could get back into games as soon as early November, there’s also the possibility, Slater reports, that the center could spend time in the G League in closed-door scrimmages or possibly full games. It doesn’t seem too likely the center would spend a significant chunk of time in Santa Cruz, however. For as much as he struggled as a rookie, especially given his draft pedigree, Wiseman certainly figures to be a useful rotation player for the Warriors this season in some capacity. Ultimately, it seems like he’ll often spend time with the bench unit this season, where he can better demonstrate his upside, and his mistakes aren’t as harmful. Notably, Golden State brought in a new assistant coach, Dejan Milojevic, who is doing a lot of work to develop Wiseman into a more well-rounded player. Milojevic was a head coach in Serbia where his Mega Basket program helped produce the likes of Nikola Jokic, Ivica Zubac and Boban Marjanovic.
Warriors’ Stephen Curry: Not Available Tuesday
Curry won’t play in Tuesday’s preseason contest against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Curry and Draymond Green will rest Tuesday, but they will both be available for the Warriors’ preseason finale against the Blazers on Friday. Jordan Poole has been drawing starts at shooting guard alongside Curry during the preseason, but he may take over the majority of the point guard duties against the Lakers on Tuesday.

Is Damian Lillard Playing Tonight Against The Golden State Warriors
Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers remain winless heading into the 2021-22 NBA preseason finale on Friday. The Blazers will visit the undefeated Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
Lillard played in the Blazers’ 119-74 loss against the Phoenix Suns last Wednesday. He had 12 points, two rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes. He was cold beyond the arc, making just one three-point shot from six attempts.
The Blazers have lost all three of their preseason games so far. It has been a struggle for Portland under new head coach Chauncey Billups. Heading into the final day of the preseason, it is important for the Blazers to gain some momentum heading into the regular season.
Is Lebron James Playing Tonight Against The Golden State Warriors
The LA Lakers will be looking to put the disappointment of the preseason behind them, in which they ended up losing all matches. They come up against a rejuvenated Golden State Warriors team, which will be uplifted by Klay Thompson’s return.
The LA Lakers dealt with multiple injuries to key players during the 2020-21 NBA season, which was one of the major reasons why they crashed out of the 2021 postseason.
Anthony Davis was injured several times during the season and even LeBron James missed a good chunk of games due to injuries.
LA Lakers fans will be curious to learn more about LeBron James’ fitness ahead of their decisive game against Dub Nation, and we will divulge the details of that below.

Warriors’ Andrew Wiggins: Might Not Play Friday
Wiggins didn’t practice Thursday due to “nicks and bruises” and may not play Friday against the Lakers, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
Wiggins was recently vaccinated, which is the more important recent news for the starting wing. Still, if he’s out Friday, more minutes will be available for the team’s young bench options.

Hen Curry Listed As Questionable With A Left Hip Contusion
The team listed Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala on the injury report. Iggy has been ruled out with a left hip injury for the first of back-to-back games against Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Piston. Curry on the other hand is questionable for the night.
He will most likely take the night off for load management as Cavs are decimated with injuries themselves. Colling Sexton suffered a torn meniscus to his left knee while rookie Evan Mobley sprained his right elbow.
Some notable Warriors injury news: Steph Curry is questionable tomorrow in Cleveland with a left hip contusion, Andre Iguodala is out with left hip injury management. Rest day for Iguodala. Its front end of back-to-back.
Iggys absence could mean more minutes for the Warriors rookie Jonathan Kuminga who is earning playing time on a contending team. The matchup against Cavs will be a solid opportunity for Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole to show that they can carry the team offensively in Currys absence.
Warriors’ Quinndary Weatherspoon: Links Up With Golden State
Weatherspoon signed a contract with the Warriors on Monday, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Golden State’s press release doesn’t specify the terms of Weatherspoon’s deal, but he’s presumably joining the club on an Exhibit 10 contract, which would allow the Warriors to retain his G League rights in the likely event he’s waived before the start of the regular season. While playing under two-way deals for the Spurs in both of the past two seasons, Weatherspoon appeared in 31 games and averaged 1.9 points in 6.4 minutes per contest.

What Channel Is Warriors Vs Clippers On Tonight Time Tv Schedule Live Streaming
Opening week of the NBA’s historic 75th season on Day 3 continues as the LA Clippers play their first game.
The Los Angeles franchise led by All-Star Paul George will begin their campaign on the road in San Francisco, hosted by reigning NBA scoring champion Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, one of the NBA’s three charter franchises.
The Warriors will be high on confidence, fresh off their opening-night win over the star-studded Los Angeles Lakers at the STAPLES Center. They will be looking to build on that result and put forward a strong campaign having missed the playoffs the last two seasons.
On the other hand, the Clippers are coming off their first-ever Conference Finals appearance in franchise history but will be without former two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, who underwent surgery in July to repair a partial tear of the ACL in his right knee.
Serge Ibaka is reportedly to set to miss this game as well.

Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga: Strains Patella Tendon
Kuminga suffered a strained patella tendon in his right knee during Wednesday’s preseason game and will be re-evaluated in one week, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.
Kuminga is presumably out for the remainder of the preseason, and his status for the regular-season opener Oct. 19 against the Lakers is in jeopardy. If the rookie is forced to miss time early in the season, more minutes could be available for Otto Porter, Moses Moody, Damion Lee and Andre Iguodala. The Warriors have a wealth of potential options, so it’s tough to know if there will be an actionable beneficiary in terms of upward fantasy production.
Warriors’ Jordan Poole: Another Strong Performance
Poole recorded 18 points , five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 19 minutes during Tuesday’s 111-99 preseason win over the Lakers.
Poole has shown all preseason that he’s on the cusp of taking the next step in his NBA career. While his usage figures to decrease in the regular season, it appears he’s going to be one of the Warriors’ key rotation players all year, and especially before Klay Thompson returns.
