The Kids Are Set To Get A University Gold Air Jordan 1 Low
Jordan Brand is set to go all sunny with a new University Gold version of the Air Jordan 1 Low that is set to drop in GS sizing thats perfect for the summer months.
Similar to the Air Jordan 1 Mid that was previously released, Jordan Brand will be incorporating the AJ1 Low now thanks to the warmer months that are ahead. This design is set to feature a white leather design across the base on the toes and sides while black leather is used on the heels. For the overlay system, University Gold shines brightly throughout which also includes the Nike Swoosh logo on the sides. The bright color is also used on the tongue which is contrasted by a back lacing system and black Jumpman branding. To complete the design, a white rubber midsole and black outsole are placed below.
Jordan 1 Low University Gold Black
The Air Jordan 1 low-top returned in October 2020 with a University Gold and black colorway. A University Gold upper is complemented by University Gold overlays on the heel, eyelets, side panels, and mudguard. Perforated holes on the toe top provide breathability. The tongue, laces, ankle cuff, Nike Swooshes, and inner sock liner take on a black appearance. A University Gold Jordan Brand Jumpman logo appears on the tongue. Black continues on the outer sole, and a traditional Air Jordan 1 design adorns the tread of this release in all black. A white midsole adds a bright neutral hue to this release, serving as the only detour from its University Gold and black color scheme.

History Of Air Jordan 1
As the story goes, the year was 1984, and Chicago Bulls’ rookie Michael Jordan was a hot commodity for endorsement deals, with sneakers naturally being paramount.
Jordan had just come off a stellar college basketball season at the University of North Carolina. He wore Converse and was a personal fan of Adidas, so he took meetings with both companies, but they never reached a deal. It seems strange today, but at the time, Michael Jordan hated Nikeso much so that he refused to take a meeting with them.
He was persuaded by his mother, Deloris Jordan, to visit the Nike campus in Oregon and listen to their pitch. His plan was to go through the motions to appease his parents and agent but he ultimately left with a contract unlike any other.
Rather than walking in the shadows of established athletes like Magic Johnson and Larry Bird , Michael Jordan shone in the Nike limelight. He was paid more than any other athlete with a sneaker endorsement at the time. Nike made him the face of its growing presence in basketball, and gave him his own sneaker linecalled Air Jordan.
