Review: Honest Tea claims on the bottle that there are 190 mg catechins per bottle, but Consumer Labs and other independent tests have only found 119 mg. Still, it has a decent amount of catechins and EGCG, and is low in calories. But a little higher in caffeine than #1.

I love this stuff. This is a sure way to get in my 64 oz of fluids. It is zero calories, fats, carbs, and sugars..55 mg of sodium. No aftertaste like I experience with diet snapple, turkey hill, and arizona brands.

It is so delicious that I am sure that it is a reason I should not have it lol.

So all you vets out there give it to me straight… whats wrong with it??

Not that I know what any of these big words mean but it must be bad right?

I hate reading labels…just say caffeine, artificial sweetners, or whatever the case may be. smh

So now that you have more information, please chime in and tell me why my sleeve should not have it?? I have such a hard time getting in my water intake. I get in my protein because I still drink at least one premier shake a day.

Please give me the criticism I so deserve…I need some tough love. I keep telling myself you know how this garbage taste, why do you need to eat it.

If part of the reason youre choosing iced tea is because you want to drink a dose of antioxidants, be warned that there might not be many in a bottle.

Bottled teas are very low in antioxidants compared to freshly brewed tea, says Vinson, whose lab has analyzed a variety of teas.

In his testing, black tea bags steeped for 5 minutes in hot water contained the highest amount of polyphenolsa type of antioxidant found in black tea with more than 600 mg per cup, while bottled black tea contained the least .

Vinson theorizes that the ratio of water to tea is higher in bottled teas than in tea you make at home, so the resulting beverage has a lower antioxidant level. Flavorings and sugars eliminate teas naturally bitter taste but may also dilute antioxidants.
